Here's my Sterling Music Man
It's just a mexi-strat. Over the years I re-fretted it and installed DiMarzio Virtual Vintage pickups. My son plays it now along with a Jackson and Ibinez.
I just finished up the B-I-L's xmas present. Took a $30 Squier from a pawn shop, stripped and refinished it, swapped out the three single coils with two humbuckers, ditched the two tone controls and wired in two 2-position toggles for coil tapping and parallel-series switching.

Nice. I've played a lot of Squires that were great guitars.
Thanks, it was a fun project. I just hope he likes it.
Maybe tomorrow I'll post some I have owned, if I can find pictures. Mosrite Johnny Ramone #19, a couple of 6 and 12 string matching pairs of Rickenbackers and Stratocasters, Aluminum tie-dye telecaster, Billy Idol Rebel Yell Les Paul, 1960's Martin F-55, James Burton red/black paisly telecaster, and many dozens more.
Here's the Mosrite:
One of my SG's
Sadly, these are all pictures I took when I was selling them on Ebay.
Chad would like this thread.
with the SG
(MIM Strat and SE Jazz)
I also have 2 accoustics; a Seagull s6 CW Spruce and a Classical I bought in Jalisco Mexico.
The bass I got for my 11th birthday in 1979, sold in 1987, and just recently found on e-bay in Denver. I started a thread about it here: http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1444465&highlight=bass
It's good to have her back!

Here is a rare one - Gibson 335S
A Parker Nite Fly I actually kept and played for a while:
And my Gibson Chet Atkins Tennessean:
These are a drop in the bucket of the many, many guitars I have owned - before I bought a house, it was not uncommon for me to have 30 guitars at a time, always buying, selling and trading. Mainly Gibson and Fender, but also Rickenbacker, B.C. Rich, most of the Ovation solidbody models, Fernandes, Carvin, etc.
my '81 Ovation collectors series
Unfortunately, I no longer have it... it was an MIA Fender Strat with Gilmour EMG pickups, the LSR roller nut, and Schaller locking tuners.
I am looking at this though... will eventually swith out pickups.
sold it a year and a half ago. diamond anniv stratocaster.
My custom 8-string Louisiana Cypress lap steel guitar made by Allen Melbert out of Livingston, Tennessee:
(Lawrence 705 pickup)
Made in USA Fender Bullet bass deluxe with badass bridge and bartolini pups.
Nothing really special and the Carvin D-4 actually makes me a little beer money each weekend. It's a swamp ash passive and the finish is a napthaline/tongue oil I boiled in a coffee can. HH
Yes, he would...
