I finally got my boat painted and all of the accessories put on it this weekend. I now only need a electric trolling motor to finish it off. (I will have that in May for my b-day) My rig is a G3 by Skeeter 12.5 ft. with a Johnson Seahorse 15HP outboard. I added a deck in the front for storage. The boat was factory painted/covered in the wetland pattern and I painted the motor and seats. I use this boat for fishing and hunting. It is a pretty quick little rig with one person and it scoots along at about 18 MPH. loaded with just me. (260 lbs) I am getting a 31lb. thrust MotorGuide so till I add that and a marine battery it will slow it down a bit. But I really love this boat and cannot wait for another day out on the water.

So post your rigs and let's see them!

I love the kayaks! What a great set up.

My fishing rig is a lot more basic. The scenery is great though. Here is a picture I took last year. I'm throwing flys at Coho salmon out on Elger bay. In the distance is Lowell Point, Whidbey Island and beyond that, the Olympic Mountains.

I have spent the last 10+ years chasing smallmouth

on the Tippecanoe river. the Tippy is primarily a shallow river. gravel based, and filled with rocks and boulders.

my little Coleman Crawdad has served me well there, and as a pond hopper.

it can go where bigger boats can't.

and now for something completely different....

I picked up this today at Rural King for $98.

the pic is from the box, haven't assembled it yet.

not a high-dollar model, but good entry level to see if I'll like it or not. if I do like it, first change will be a swivel boat seat.;)

going to try it on the local ponds close to home, and as a short trip river and creek floater.

Nice fishing rigs folks. Dang, I like that bass boat! I only had $1,600 so I went shopping in the boattrader.com and local papers. I picked up a 1968 Silverline 16' runabout. It has a old 65HP Merc that works and a new 44lb Minn Koda trolling motor. I've tinkered with it a bit and now it looks pretty good. Haven't even taken it out yet. Maybe I'll learn how to post pics one of these days.;)

This is my bass boat that I'm going to put up for sale next week.

This is my jon boat. A 17' all welded boat that I put a 50hp Yamaha four stroke motor on and had rhino lined. I went all out building this boat and spared no expense. I built this boat to keep for the rest of my life. It has a 6" jackplate to run on skinny water, hi powered trolling motor, 2 optima batteries, 2 color graphs front and rear, etc. We moved about a month ago and I have missed some of the best fishing this year due to that and I am preparing for a bear trip to Canada next month so it will probably be the end of june before I really get to use my jon boat. Heck I haven't even caught a fish in it yet

This is the boat after the rhino lining was applied but before any other work was done.
