I may be moving to the Port Clinton/Oak Harbor area in about a year once my wife retires from the military (that's her home town). Just wondering what the hunting and shootin is like in that area??? Any info would be great.

Lots of waterfowl to hunt and your right next door to camp perry. What more can you ask for?

Ducks, geese and deer are in abundance. Fishing is the best anywhere, only bad news it that the winters are cold enough to freeze the bolts off a bridge and the wind will cut you like a new file.

  4. as said earlier, good waterfowl and fishing but youll probably want to head south/southeast for better deer hunting.
