I'm not sure because I don't have all the facts. The media has been reporting half-truths and outright lies. The first report I read about it didn't even mention that Zimmerman was injured.

Should he have been charged with manslaughter? I don't know.

Should he have been charged with 2nd degree murder? Absolutely not.

Not based on the evidence released so far. There is a reason that the prosecutor's office told the police not to charge Zimmerman that night- a lack of probable cause.

Yes. Charge him with manslaughter, exactly the same way charges would most certainly have been placed against a black man standing over a dead white boy who walked through a neighborhood at night, etc., etc. Like it? No. But that's the way it is.

With an eyewitness saying that the white boy was on top of the black man beating him?
