Hey guys, I'm looking for a good pocket holster for a Kahr CM9.

I usually use the Desantis Nemesis, but the Nemesis for the Kahr has as big a footprint as the Nemesis for my PPS. They have different stitching to mold to the gun, but the overall size is the same.

I'm looking for something with less overall size.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks.

Alabama Holster Company makes a great pocket holster. It stays put in the pocket, is molded to your gun and doesn't print like some other holsters. I have one for a S&W 442 and a Colt Mustang. No issues with either.

Looks like a nice product, but the same problem. Its a big pocket holster for the size of the gun carried.

I'm looking for something with a minimal footprint.

Depends what you're carrying. For my SIG P238, the DeSantis pocket holster doesn't provide a snag-free draw. Leather pocket holsters I've owned fit the gun too tightly. I've never had a problem drawing anything from a Remora. Ability to draw the gun is more important than how it shows from the outside.

I'd love to find a really good leather pocket holster that functions like one must: stays in place and provides a butter-smooth draw.

I like my Mika pocket holster for my PM9. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo of it right now. I have another one of his holsters for my j-frames. He can work with you to design something.

Is the Remora going to be smaller than the Nemesis? That was the OPs original request.

I prefer the TUFF pocket holsters. Use one for my LCP and LCR.

The Remora works as a pocket or IWB holster and it works great in either application

I use a cheap Uncle Mikes #3 for my PM9. Works great.
The #4 was listed for it but was a little loose for my liking, so I went with the #3, I use the #4 for my LCR

I have a remora and a nemesis for my PF-9 and they are pretty much the same size. The remora is maybe a little bit thicker but not by much. Their are two other reasons I switched from the nemesis. The first thing is that the nemesis doesn't break up the shape of the gun like I would have liked and second it doesn't always stay in your pocket when drawing. The remora is great for pocket carry and also a good IWB holster.

You might find that a holster that fills your pocket keeps the pistol more still and properly oriented than a smaller one that moves around in your pocket.

Also, the technique for drawing from most pocket holsters is to put a little backward pressure on the gun as you draw so the projection grabs your pocket lining and the holster stays in the pocket.

I have a Nemesis for my Glock 26. I don't use it much, but it works OK, considering that the G26 is not great as a pocket pistol.

Alabama Holster Co had that in mind and there "push off" that lets you start the gun out while it is in the pocket will hook the front of the pocket if you draw forward. The holsters come round bottom or square bottom to fit your pocket.
