Just bought a new PM 9 with the safety and chamber indicator. Took it to the range to break it in and couldn't get past 25 rounds when it started to FTE and the slide was getting stuck. When I fianlly got the slide to move back it wouldn't go back all the way so that I could lock it. After getting the empty casing out I wasn't able to get 2 rounds out of it before it happened again. Took it back to the gunshop and the gunsmith said there was a lot of dried up grease in there from the factory and he gave it a good cleaning. I took it back to the range the next day and 25-30 rounds in it started doing the same thing. Sent it back to Kahr and I am waiting to hear what they found. I did send them an email telling them that they need to put at least 50 rounds through it since the problem might not show up with the 4 clips that is company policy. I also told them that if it comes back with the same problem I want a new gun or a check. If anybody has had a similar issue, I would be interested as to what you found to be the problem. I think for the amount of money this gun costs, you should not have to deal with these issues.
