if you want cheap there are motels/inns situated parallel to the main entrance of clark.

well since you are in clearwater better get the lakeview villas or the indian teepee style with aircon. went fishing there and caught a 2kg barramnundi (some call it seabass). you can have your kids go fishing in their pond. lots of big tilapias that will bite the hook even without a bait.

oh try the vin cafe too. red wine galore.

FYI , for dirt cheap accomodations at Clark , try the Clark Hostel dormitory, It's to the left of he traffic light just before mimosa
Rates are 200p per head , 4 to a room
    Very clean

As for Clearwater , I didnt get to catch any fish , only because I was in the water swimming w/ them hehe
Dun nga kami pinalangoy sa lagoon , paikot ng lagoon twice
Nga pala , for those camping there , careful lang we were insoecting the route w/ our bikes may tumawid na 2 cobra sa kalsada
Pero maliit lang naman , sigura 8 OR 10 feet long

Yup , that was fafa Goerge Vilog who had an exciting duel w/ RP no1 Arland Macasieb sa run. While Trantados resident halimaw Mark Candelaria was third. Goerge and Mark are former no1 din.

Part of the race route was the road in front of Fontana kaso we raced around 630am

As for me , masama yung run leg ko , pati pala yung swim , pati na rin yung bike haha lahat masama :)
Just kidding , the water was so murky , and me being near sighted didnt help ,I lost a lot of time sa swim.
Nkabawi naman sa bike , I passed some kids , moms , plus a guy making pasyal w/ his daughter sitting sa handlebar ng bike nya
Still , it was a personal best time kaya I'm happy :)
To look at the bright side , my sprint distance time is just 14 min away from the top Philippine team member eerrr.....sa girls ....14 and under division :(

    Dapat sumali ka sa Clark!
Ganda ng karera pre , tapos traffic free
The swim could be intimidating lang pag di pa sanay parang may anaconda dun sa lagoon hehe

Tumakbo ako naka patella brace just to test lang, and it solved the knee problem a little
A 29 min for the 5k run leg hehe not bad kasi totally didnt run sa practice

    Subic tayo sa May!
Gotta get goggles na may grado first

    bro,
wala anaconda pero meron mga 2kg or heavier/bigger pacu. i think the pacu is a relative of the piranha (or i may be wrong)
