Yes it was. RAMPAGE!!!!
How do you like the Specialist? I have been looking at Dan Wesson's lately, looking at the VBOB and ECO too. Thinking the ECO would be a nice carry piece but something about that Specialist gets me excited.
Very nice, Tony
Nothing fancy, but it works for me...
I really like it, I am normally a BIG Springfield fan. Was looking
at a few Operators, as I found myself wanting a railed 1911 for
home use. The quality of the internal parts and the fact that I
found serial number 4, I had to pick this up. Shoots great,
triggers has a clean 4# break. While this is my 1st DW, I really like it!
Very nice Randy,......those are getting great reviews.
Get us a range report posted.
She's a sweet shooter.Eats anything I feed it.I have tweaked it a bit and have more future plans for it.Kind of a DIY project to learn on.
So far I have done the following:
Replaced all springs with Wilson Combat
Replaced FLGR with GI.
Undercut trigger guard
Flush cut slide stop
Shortened & rounded beaver tail
Installed and reshaped Wilson TS
Wilson 3 hole trigger
Ed Brown barrel bushing
Refinished with Alumna Hyde II matte black.
I want to change the TS to a Colt and the hammer to a round hole Colt.Maybe add some thin grips too.
Here are my favorites:
Top to bottom: Les Baer Custom Carry, Colt Officers Model (highly modified) and a Belgian made Browning Hi-Power.
