I'm in Lexington, KY today. Heading to Classic Arms and Archery to use my GSSF Coupon and buy a new Gen4 23. Would have gotten the venerable 19, but they do not have them in stock. So I guess the 19 will have to wait until I get my next coupon.

Just bought my first Blue Label Glock. A gen4 23. This is my 6th gen4 purchase overall. Can't wait to get it home and try it out. I think the dimensions are great and believe a 19 will follow very soon.

It will be interesting to hear how you like this one after shooting it. I would consider a G34 instead of a G19, but that's just me.

I actually debated whether or not to buy a 34 or 35. They had both in the shop and I handled both. In the end I bought the 23 because I wanted to be able to carry what I bought. When I get my next GSSF coupon I may buy the 34 or 35. I intend to eventually buy all the Gen4s. The 34/35 were $480 with the coupon. That's a heck of a deal. I'll give a report once I get the 23 out on the range.

Congrats! I went looking for classic a few weeks ago and found Evans. They were a bit cheaper than classic for a gen4 19 and had em in stock so it came home with me. Enjoy the new 23!

Recently traded a 23 for a 19. Both are great guns! I wanted to practice more often and the only thing that was keeping me from going to the range more was the cost of ammo.

The 19 is more comfortable to shoot also with less recoil. No the 23 doesn't jump out of your hand or anything....just more comfortable. My .02

I put 104 rounds through it today and and agree the 19 would be softer and cheaper to shoot, but the 23 is manageable and a keeper for me.

I have had my G4 23 for a little over a year now. It has been a great gun without a malfunction yet. I will get an occasional piece of brass to hit me in the head.

Congrats on your new 23. I got myself a Gen 3 23 because I wanted to carry it, otherwise I would've gotten a 22. Got a Gen 3 over a Gen 4 because I heard the Gen 4 were having issues, while the Gen 3 was proven reliable, and I wanted my first firearm to just perform no matter what. Now that I'm a bit more experienced and more knowledgeable, my next Glock will be a Gen 4.
