are they worth any thing?
They're great. Good shape, almost new, great fun for some kid/s.
(We have more time to use them here then you do)
Wow. Those are some awesome sleds to find in the trash

thats what i thought..i drove by them 2 times..went back and both still there..so picked them up..
they r both in great shape, no rust and wood still looks great..
well at least its not a hot dog!!
that's a Polish yard sale
Paint em black and you can sell them to you know who as "Tactical sleds".
Great deal! I keep looking at old trashed sleds at junk/curio/antique stores as I think one would look good as a wall hanger in my cabin home.
i swear, i was thinking the same thing!
but i dont have a cabin...
Collectors snap those sleds up quickly. Good score! tom.
how would i find a value and place to sell?
Ebay listings show prices. Take them to local antique shops for quick sales or list on e-bay or craig's list. tom.
went to ebay..saw a few for 49 bucks..
That's a start. Flea mkts seem to be a good place to sell old sleds. The Flex' Flyers go the quickest or so I've been told. YMMV. tom.
I would think that with an interesting base and a glass top you might have a great coffee table.
