Yep...Found the perfect magazine extension for the glock 29.
Lighting Strike LS4001 Large Extended Mag Pad (Aluminum).
    It is perfect and awesome!
Feels and shoots like a glock 30....Made my Glock 29 what I always wanted it to be......Just Awesome.
Only $16.95 from Bownells...Get it for your 29, you won't be sorry.

    DeLo,
Yes, it adds a little weight which is plus....But also added a great grip extension which allows better positive handling.....Very simular to the feel of a Glock 30. The little extra weight has taken out a little recoil and allows your mags to drop free and fast....Concealed carry is very easy and again very simular to the Glock 30.

The 29 and 30 are dimensionally the exact same so I don't get how it could make it "feel" like a 30... Are you talking about perceived recoil? And also not getting how carry is any more like a 30... maybe weight? If you could please enlighten us all that would be great.

Now which one does the OP's gun resemble more?

I prefer using a G20 mag with an x-grip on it...

I have to revive this thread being there are some options missing and one option mentioned that does not exist.
The only way to add an extension to give more rounds is to use a g20 15 round mag and buy a A&G spacer. It's not the prettiest mod but it provides a great grip. Biggest real scenario issue is the fact one must let go of the grip extension before one can drop mag, it can easily be done with practice but being about 50% of your hand is gripping the extension you will lose speed factor in reloading.
The Pierce grip extension looks great and works but that pinky horn grip can cause draw issues. I think the OP mod is one of the best being it at least sits flush somewhat with no overhangs to catch on anything while drawing, but the fact there is no true extension that provides and additional round or two pretty much sucks. Also promag and X-grip do make grip extensions and spacers for glocks but neither makes them for the 29 which dumbfounds me a bit being the 29 has grown greatly in popularity the last few years.
As to the one option that is mentioned but doesn't exist, is the x-grip which I already stated doesn't make anything for the g29, I believe they confused their g20 with a thread specific for the g29.
