I am looking at getting a PDA to check e-mails and surf the web while I am out of town. I am looking at the PALM TX if anyone has any insight I would appreciate it.

Also, can I use it at hotspots or will I have to use a cell phone as a modem?

    Any insight would be appreciated.

    G33,
Do you need to use a cell phone as a modem or is it just like a wireless laptop (at a hot spot)?

    Thanks

    DennisP,

It's just like a wireless laptop. You have to be at a hot spot to tap into the internet.
