I am new to USPA shooting and I have been using a G34. I would like to get a 1911 and I have been looking at the Para PXT 18-9 Limited (or similar double stack 1911, suggestions?). I looked on the USPSA website and it is unclear to me if the gun qualifies as production class. Before spending the money on the gun I would like to know because I don't really want to move up to limited at this time.

Here is a link to the gun:

    Thanks

I don't think single action is allowed in Production

    Fixed it for you. :tongueout:

Seriously though, if you want to get a Para for Production, you'll need an LDA (Light Double Action) Model.

I can shoot a CZ75 SA in Production? Maybe I should have written no SAO.

No, CZ must be shot double action first shot. The division is technically a "double action" first shot. I kid though as the XD and M&P are really single action pistols, and are allowed in production.

    Sorry for the confusion. :embarassed:
