Para LDA grip safety "rattle"

Recently purchased a second hand Blackwatch Commander compact LDA 1911 by Para Ordinance.

The grip safety has about 1mm of "play" in it that rattles when I walk. The sear spring in the LDA is significantly different from that of a traditional 1911.

This appears to be a common thing for folks to "notice" on the LDA pistol. Para's customer service has been dismal in getting back to me with any information.

Anyone out in cyberspace have any ldeas / suggestions to get this rectified. The pistol is simply too "noisy" for me to carry concealed unless I want folks to think I have a ring of keys hanging off a beltloop.

Its a shame you didn't post here before you bought that.

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, I agree....I thought it was a good deal at $500...but wasn't expecting to sound like I had a pocket full of change when I wore it.

It DID give me a great excuse to buy a nice El Paso Saddlery holster though:whistling:

This was my first venture BACK into 1911 land in about 20 years. I have much to learn it seems.
