Hello there, like what my handle says, I've been lurking here for a while, this is my first post. Mr. Alvar, if you are the same person who's on the Chief Petty Officer Selection list, let me be the first one to congratulate you here at Glock Talk. If for some reason you are a different person, it's the thought that counts. :)

Congratulations Falvar. I was an "OG" (Old Goat)from 1985-1989. If your initiation is in SoCal let me know when and I will try to be there.

    Salamat sa lahat :)

For some reason my browser crashes when I reply to posts so medyo natagalan ang pasasalamat.

Jerri, wala nang initiation. New Navy. Besides, I'm deployed.

CPO initiation has been a Navy tradition for almost 100 years and they did away with it. It is sad. Oh well, you will not then experience what thousands of Chiefs have gone through.

    Congratulations "Jefe".
