This happened early this morning. A Northern York County Regional Police officer in a Crown Vic was involved in a crash with a large truck. This agency is located close to mine; just over the border in a neighboring county. Have no idea of how bad the officer's injuries are. Pics from the early morning newscasts show a pulverized Crown Vic.

Prayers for the officer. Their last LODD was in 2008. Would really hate to have it happen to them again.

I saw that on the news this morning (I'm in Harrisburg). I caught it as they were showing the vehicle, and then was shocked to hear he and the prisoner were transported. Wow.

    This does not look good:

I am hoping with all my might that the officer makes it through...

    Update:

I started a 3 day EVOC class today and just about fell over when the injured officer walked into the room. Yesterday was his first day back on the job and he's getting all his certs up to date. He says that his Chief and the department staff are backing him 100%. Also, it was a good DUI pinch; the BG in the back seat is still going to be charged.

That's awesome. Glad he could come back to work.
