I have a P6, 1983 model in great shape. I came across some
100 gr CorBon PowRball 9mm +P and bought 60 rounds. My question is
will my P6 handle this load? I think it will cause the gun is made so well
but if anyone has knowledge to the contrary, I'd appreciate you filling
    me in.
    Thanks,
    Dano

    Be fine.
Some aggressive hollow points may hang up on feeding and in some models do not.
    Test yours.
    Enjoy.

Add: yes, I know powerball is not HP-normal.

I have one, (81) and I've no problems with JHP that I've fed it. Also, it is very accurate. If magazines were easier to find, I'd be carrying this one for sure.

I like to use the P6 for teaching people to shoot. If they can handle the DA accurately, then everything else is a breeze!

Mine handles JHP just fine too. I just ran across a real good
deal on some PowRball and bought it. Didn't pay attention and when I got
it home, it was +P. Wondered if anyone had ever used it or if there was
any info out there that said not to use it. I have a P239 too but it's only
a couple years old where the P6 is 27 years old. The gun is build like a
tank and I figure it could handle +P just fine. Just wanted a little
    conformation :therapy:

Your best bet would probably be contact Sig. I hear they're pretty helpful (I don't know first hand.)

    p.a.
I would if I where you replace the recoil spring you don't know how many rounds where shot in the gun so a new spring won't be a bad thing.

    P6=p225
Top gun supply has mags for P225

P.S. I don't have stock in TGS but they have done well with my orders and I reccomend them if you need gun supplies
