My brother has one he picked up about 1.5 years ago. He likes his quite a bit and found it to be as accurate as he could have asked for out a gun that size.

    I have a rainbow.

    I really like that Copperhead

For the OP: I am nothing but happy with the accuracy of mine. Only other 380 I shot was a Bersa Thunder I had years ago. That was accurate as well.

A guy at work was saying that the .380 would do nothing but pi$$ him off if he got shot with one. I then told him to stand in front of me and let me shoot him, he didn't want to :dunno:

I'm not a great shot generallynspeaking, but my p238 makes me smile at the range.

He is a great shot, no way I can do that with mine yet, but I'm getting there!!

I have a Colt Pony, P3AT, and I had an LCP, My P238 is by far the most accurate of all of those, and it's just a fun gun to shoot!

I have the Tactical version I believe they call it, with the laser, but I took it off for now because of limited holster options for the laser, by "limited", I mean I haven't got off my butt and got one yet! I carry in a D.M. Bullard IWB, or my favorite, a Don Hume JIT Slide.

  11. I wouldn't carry a 22 for defence but I wouldn't let you shoot me with one.......

That there is the funny thing, most people don't want to get shot, no matter what the caliber..........:whistling:

as xaman shows, the gun is very good. if you are capable of shooting it well, it will shoot well. i have similar results. note the shot that is outside "the group". it's not too far off. i also find the gun to be very forgiving. a bit of a user error and your an inch or two off, not feet.

My P238 seems to shoot as accurately as I am able to command it to. The recoil sure is light since it is all metal.

If I aim at the bottom of the dark circle, it will generally put me in the middle. That's with my Equinox. Same with my range officer. It wants to squiggle in my hand when it goes off. So I would say I have to place the front sight about three inches down. Anybody else experience this? I love the thing thou.

Can you tell any difference when shooting your HD versus the Copperhead? I have an HD and really like it a lot. I have had no issues with my HD as long as I use the type 3 mags. When I use any other mags, I have FTF and sometimes FTE. I have found Wilson Combat ammo to be reliable and accurate - plus it has a very small flash when shot.
