P228 Swiss police (new to me)

Discussion in 'The Sig Sauer Club' started by jonbondave, Jan 27, 2012.

  1. I just picked this up at the FFL on monday. Bought from widener's about 3 weeks before monday, that was a long arduous wait!@ Gun looks pretty nice internally with a bit of wear on the slide rails. Completely stripped and cleaned... Can't wait to get out and shoot it. the Slide is ilaflon and the pistol was proofed in 2005. No box, no papers. Here it be.

  2. I got it from Widener's. But they sold out reletively fast, slow shipping..... Three weeks from order to picked up at my local FFL. Only thing i've done since i got it is add new springs, detail strip and clean and added some grip tape to the front strap and filled in the import stamp wiht black crayon to subdue it a bit. :)
