    I picked up a P228, put a set of Nills on it.
    It's now mt EDC,......simply love it.

    It's demensionally close to the G19, but is heavier.

    I got dibs on it! Thanks! Quack helped me out with a quick price check, too!

    I was issued a P-228 at the Academy. I carried it for years, initially as a primary handgun and later as a back-up. I was told that we each fired over 5000 rounds through the pistols during training. It was a great pistol.

    They took them all up in 2002 and issued various 40 cal pistols.

    Thanks rfd. I really loved the looks when I first saw the Equinox, and even more once I held and fired this beauty. It has great balance, and I was surprised on the overall lightness of the pistol. I have the carry model, and perfer the length of the 3.9" barrel. :thumbsup:
