My friend and I just got a Marlin 795. It's an inexpensive .22 caliber semi-automatic rifle and I was pretty impressed with its performance. He has put in about 380 rounds in it with no failures. It is out of the box accurate, light and looks nice too. He put a bipod in it and a 12 x 40 scope with focal adjustment for distance and we can hit a soda cap (tansan) at 75 meters (82 yds). I put a bipod and a 1 x 40 red dot scope on it and I'm pretty satisfied with mine. I don't think I can hit soda caps with it at 75 meters but I prefer the red dot because the rifle is semi-auto. Target acquisition is easier. Stripping it is easy too. Wanna kill these ads? We can help!
