Check out New Graham knives. Some of their items are out of stock right now due to the holidays.

What type of knife are you looking for? Traditional style or modern?

Rocky National, I ordered a SOG Field Pup just before Chirstmas and got it for $40 shipped. That is cheaper than many walk-in stores sell them.

Just ordered an Emerson knife from - http://davesknifeworld.com

Price was reasonable and they had what I wanted in stock. I ordered it late on a Thursday night and recieved it the following Monday. Good service.

I usually just go to Ebay and find the lowest price+shipping from someone listed as a "Power Seller" (i.e. high volume/well reviewed), but as mesteve2 suggests, also try Amazon. I see an Amazon marketplace seller listing a Kershaw G10 Leek for $70 (after shipping) which I recently paid $75 for (after shipping) from an Ebay seller. However, I also see they have a Benchmade 707 Sequel (from Amazon themselves) for $150, which I was able to get for a mere $105 from Ebay.

    I best lesson: Shop around!

hate to admit it, but i've had my best deals here on 'like new, once fondled'. With or without box or paperwork, substantial discounts from individuals that got it as a gift or prize, or in a trade, and just want to be loose from it. Prices are very good indeed from motivated sellers. There's another blade forum ;) I haunt besides here but i'll not get specific.

Pay retail if you insist, but when you want to resell one, be prepared to lose money.

    ebay...

I've bought 4 0r 5 assisted opening knives off ebay within the past couple of months, and the prices were always very, very reasonable (as compared to retail), and "so far" every transaction has been perfect..

I ONLY buy from a seller who has a long standing feedback reputation in the high 90's over a long period, and I am willing to pay a few bucks more to deal with just those folks.

In my experience, the cheapest price is not always the best "deal" after shipping and handling, AND the sellers reputation for satisfied customers are factored in...

    Best Wishes,

    Jesse

I've had good luck with bladehq.com, Chestnut Ridge Knife Shop, Campsmarter.com, and Amazon.

    DO NOT USE Bestknives.com it's a scam.
