Just ordered 250 rounds of 165 grain FMJ for my G27 from underwood. I've heard a lot of good things about this company and there product. With shipping I paid 87$ for everything. They give discounts on ammo when you buy 5 boxes or more. I was looking to get the 180 grain but they were sold out. I'll let you guys know what I think about this ammo when it shows up. For now I'm very excited!

I haven't shot any of their 40 S&W yet. But, I do like their ammo.

Nice buy sir. Walmart doesn't have much ammo in stock in my area. I really wanted the 180 grain but I couldn't pass up on the deal. I only ordered this ammo a couple hours ago and I just got my UPS shipping notification. Should be here in two days. Range report to come in the future.

I'm curious, never heard of the ammo, but, is this range ammo? If so I get a better deal on WWB or AE at the range.

They load both FMJ and JHP. I just got 300 rounds to try in my G38.

I scored 500 rounds from two separate members in the classified section. 250 Speer Gold dot JHP and 250 Federal JHP. Total was $200. Now I am shopping for some 9mm range ammo to go with my new .40>9mm Storm Lake barrel.

I asked this because we all get various quantities, some online, some not. Ane what he paid is right in the middle of what I pay for range ammo and top shelf hollow points.

He paid 35 cents a round. I get .40 cal range ammo for 26-28 cents a round and self defense hollow points for 56-58 cents a round. I am just saying, doesn't sound like a great deal.

For range ammo Walmart prices can't be beat for me. I can get Federal .40 180gr 500/$120 OTD and Federal 115gr 9mm 500/$95 OTD

SGammo was only three dollars cheaper for me OTD. Wally world had it in stock and did not have to worry about where to ship it. I work 7-6 everyday and don't think my work would like me shopping 1000 rounds to the job! But they do have the best deals I have found at SGammo.

I wish I could get .40 JHP ammo that cheap at walmart, I cant even get .40 FMJ ammo for that price at my local walmart.. I have to pay $15 for a 50 round box of FMJ 9mm ammo at my walmart.. :faint:

That stinks. I paid about 260 OTD for 500 of 40 180g and 500 of 9mm 115g. It was cheaper for me to buy buy the 9mm in boxes of 50 and not the bulk 250 and cheaper to buy the 40 in the 100 round boxes. I have been stocking up as much as I can while I can afford to, my wife LOVES her new g26 and will go through 150 rounds in about an hour!

All of those seem like good deals. Walmart does not sell ammo cheap around these parts so they are not a decent option. I watched some videos on underwood ammo and was sold on there product. SG seemed like it had some good deals on ammo also so I'll be looking for sales. It's the shipping costs that ruin the deal :crying:. Ill run 250 rounds of underwood ammo and go from there. SG sells there .40 for about the same price so it wouldn't be too much of a saving.

But SG ammo is not reloads its factory new ammo for the same price as what there selling reloads for...
