Really digging the CCO .45 right now. So, I'm gonna try the Guardian in 9mm. I gotta give DW alot of credit. They are really putting out a nice gun these days. Especially for the money. Anyone have any beef's with the 9mm Guardian? I've seen a few issues on TOS, but can't remember ever seeing anything but postive feedback on GT.

Sweet deal bro! I have heard nothing but good things as well. I have thought of getting one myself for a while.

No problems here. The local guys (knedrgr, hokie, lawdog) like my Guardian.

Well, it's gonna be getting a Kart 38 Super barrel put in it, shortly after getting it. So, it'll be a combo gun (actually it'll mostly be a 38 Super). After Chuck did my Kimber 9mm/38 Super conversion, I had to have a CC gun in 38 Super. And since I am really liking the DW CCO in .45, and I'm a huge bobtailed Commander fan, especially with an aluminum frame, the Guardian just really made sense.

    That's what I'm planning as well :)

Btw, the guardian uses a para/clark ramp

    Wait a minute here!
    You're gonna 'carry' a .35 caliber pistolette?

Might be OK for a quick trip to the Hamster Park.

    Remember........a 9mm might expand but a 45 cain't shrink.

There are going to be 2 of those DW's in that order, as you know, Joe. I, too, am going to do the .38 Super route and have some pretty big plans for this thing. I finally may get one of my few "dreams come true" as far as pistols go.

I think one of these may be my next pistol purchase.

Unless the rest of the year goes very well...then it will be a 9mm Nighthawk.

They are for different things :p

I want the DW Guardian for CCW and some sort of full-size semi custom 9mm as well.

Funds later on this year will dictate which comes first :p

It does not have to be a Nighthawk, that is just what I wanted for awhile. A Wilson would be more likely at this point.

If it's what you want, go for it. I had/have both a nighthawk and DW on the radar for a while.

If you have your eye on a DW Guardian, then you don't want to PM me and find out about the deal with these pistols that Joe and I are getting.....:)
