Can anyone recommend a cheap quality (paradoxical) optic to mount on a WASR? I'm looking for something that can hold up to the recoil.

I was looking online at the "Konus" reflex type sight

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Konus-Electronic-Interchangeable-Reticle-Patterns/dp/B004NKWCN6"]Amazon.com: Konus Sight Pro Mr Electronic Dot Sight Red/Green with 4 Interchangeable Reticle Patterns: Sports & Outdoors@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41yvziyoCRL.@@AMEPARAM@@41yvziyoCRL[/ame] ($109)

I did see a review online that a guy mounted this on his 12 gauge and the glass cracked after 200 rounds.

Here is the Vortex Strikefire, does anyone have any experience with these?

I was also considering putting it on a side mount, is there a better way to do it? The dust cover mounts don't look to stable.

Check the Military Arms Channel, they have one that will take three different scopes from the cheapest to more expensive.
