I'm looking for opinions on a P9S from anyone who owns/owned one. There is a used one in a gun shop nearby and I've always thought it was an interesting looking gun and is also something you don't see everyday. I'm wondering how well it shoots, ease of maintenance, cost/availability of spare parts, and just a general like/dislike. Thanks for the insight!

I don't know much about the pistol itself, but the mags, when you can find them, are pretty pricey. Check on the normal sites-Gunbroker,Auction Arms, etc., for mags.

Awesome gun, and if you're an HK fan, it's a must have. Spare parts are VERY hard to come by, and HK does recommend replacing the buffer ring on used ones (which are hard to find). And yes, mags are expensive (between $60-$80 on average). One issue that some people have with it is that in order to decock it, you have to squeez the trigger while pressing the decocking lever (which is pretty retarded). It is a classic, however, and it's on my "to buy" list.
