OpenOffice 3.0

Discussion in 'Tech Talk' started by Green_Manelishi, Dec 17, 2008.

  1. Anyone tried to install that version? Two attempts this evening "failed" due to its insistance I shut down Exploiter, etc. I don't recall that being required during the install of 2.4.

  3. ^ same.... Although even OpenOffice is too bloated for my taste. abiword and gnumeric have been good enough for me :)

I put it on my laptop which is running Vista. I have had zero issues with it.

Yes and it seemed to install well. AVG8 identified two files as a threat though. Using XP SP3 Home Edition.

I've now put it on 3 XP systems without error.
