mga bogs anu ba maganda pag nag buo ngayon ng open gun?

    9mm or 38super?

sti one piece barrell or yung schuemann bull threaded?

kung yung threaded ba mas ok ba bumili na lang ng comp if yes what brand or will you just let your gunsmith do the comp for you?

Bro a racegun in super 38 is still the best option. The 9mm open gun has shell ejection problems, bullets tend to bow down while in the magazine which causes feeding problems, shell life is shorter because you have to put higher loads to make major. These were according to the experiences of a friend of mine who bought a STI 9mm open gun, "shorty" yata yun. He is now planning to have his gun converted to super 38. I am using a racegun in super 38 and it performs excellently. When I talked to Jethro at one of a competition, he says he still prefers open guns in 38 super.
Now for your question about the barrel and compensator. If you want to save a little you might want to consider using a STI TRUBOR barrel. It is a one peace barrel and compensator. A schuemann Barrel will cost around 27k and a compensator will cost around 10k to 15k. A TRUBOR barrel costs around 28k. You can check the prices at Armscor or Truweight. If you're interested I have a TRUBOR blank barrel which I can sell to you at only 19k. The compensator does not have holes yet so you can design the ports yourself. PM me your email so that I can send you the pictures.
Hope I was able to help you in my own little way. Goodluck on your project bro.

Depends on who the gunsmith is. My brother has 2 of limcat's open guns ( 9 major) no problems with his. He is using STI mags with spacers. SV mags are preferrable though.

the advantage with a screwed on comp is that you can easily change the comp if you feel that the comp design is not working for you or if the comp breaks.

i think local made comps from churchil costs around 6t

thanks guys, leaning on a 38 super build at this time with a threaded barrell.
