On my MacBook and MacBook Pro I triple boot. Well, not exactly as I've not booted into WIN or Linux for quite a while after all it's BSD as a base and with ports you get most of the GNU software anyway via command prompt... ANYWAY... I was looking around to see if any of the virtual stuff would allow me to boot the other partitions on the hard drive rather than having to build virtual machines and reload the other OSs. I've got Virtual Box, VMWare and Parallels. Turns out Parallels does actually do this so that made me happy so I can boot WIN for the two times a year someone sends me a document that nothing else will open. So now I'm in OS X with Parallels running my VMWare inside Fedora Core running WIN7. On that WIN7 machine I'm connected to another VMWare server in another part of the lab and on that server are more virtual machines, one of which I've installed Fedora to run as a web server. I then got a headache and shut all the virtualizing stuff down and went into the other room and sat on the console of the VMWare server. Anyone doing forensics on this machine is going to have their work cut out for them. Wanna kill these ads? We can help!
