OK..need help with G19

    Ok I haven't been following the trend of issues with the glocks. I have a late 3rd gen 19 with the messed up ejector/extractor. It runs 100% suppressed with 147grn ammo but the ejection pattern is hillarious at best. With 115grn ammo and no silencer it jams on every rd. So bad in fact they don't even have names for some of these jams. (I'll upload some pics later)

    My question is, did glock actually solve this issue or just slap a bandaid on it? I used to be the biggest Glock fanboy and my end of the world gun was the G19 but now....I just don't know. So should I send the gun in or is it better to sell it and try and find a older gen3?


    Edit-Here are the pics I took from my last range trip.

    Im guessing the round half assed ejected and fell back down causing a ruckus.

    The above happened 15 times in one mag. The only pro is its great practice for clearing a malfunction. lol

    If it jams on every round then they should be able to find and fix that problem. If you were talking about an occational BTF (Brass to the Face) I wouldnt bother sending it to Glock. They just arent going to shoot a box of ammo through your gun and qualify every ejected shell, but if they cant get through a mag without a malfunction then that is a problem they should be able to address.

    It does BTF as well with the 147grn and suppressed. I forgot to mention that. Its far from perfection. sigh...

    Any luck with the Lone Wolf extractor and spring?

    Wow, so I've been reading these threads the last hour and it seems Glock basically told us to go pound sand and we have either LWD, APEX, or white sound to "maybe" fix our issues.

    For someone like me to see this go this far from a company I "used" to boast at every chance leaves me very sour. Dammit!

    Before you spend a lot of time drilling through the extractor and ejector issues, do you have a list of non factory parts you've installed and do you have enough of the factory parts available to start pushing this back to spec?

    That's where I always start, especially when you're this kind of crazyness. What's it like without suppression?

    The only thing non-stock are the sights and threaded barrel. It wont run unsuppressed. Only suppressed with 147grn and the ejection is all over. This is a 3rd gen that shipped right before the gen4 switch so its affected with the Glock bean counter parts.

    Have you tried it with the stock barrel?

    Who made the threaded barrel? It doesn't appear OEM looking at the threads.

    I was also having issues with my late model Gen 3 19, I got so sick of it that I sold it and bought an M&P. I will however buy another 19 once all the bugs are worked out.

    Does your suppressor have a Nielsen Device Piston to assist cycling?

    The issues are the same with the factory barrel and the silencer is boosted and the barrel is a LWD.

    Is the casing actually backwards in the first photo?? Any chance the magazine is for a USP by chance?

    Seriously, sorry to hear (and see) you are having issues with it.

    I had the exact same situation and was very successfully finding a solution. Take the gun and send it to Glock USA. Tell them to fix it or replace it. I found that you have to be very direct with them and do not let them get away with "we tested and it is within standards". I told them to replace it with the Gen 4 "post fix".

    I did this, was stern but friendly and I received a brand new gun and it works like a champ. Do not allow them to get away with a sub-par product.
