  1. Picked up my new Colt LE6920 today, and I get it. The Colt just feels "right".

The Daniel Defense is going up for sale.

I never got the Colt thing until today. I get it.

Curious of the reason why you like the Colt over the DD. I love my Colt, and have never handled a DD, so was just wondering.

  4. Yeah, but I'm catching flak at home with the wife. :embarrassed:

  5. I don't know. It just feels different in the grip and I sorta like the carry handle and I love the Rogers stock.

The pony stamp is cool, too.

    It happens...

I'm perfectly happy with my DD XV EZ, but I've never shot a Colt. Parted / sold my Spikes rifle to fund a LaRue OBR in 7.62 - just about there. :super grin:

Love the 6920,.....hate the Rogers stock.

    Congrats on the Colt acqusition!

  9. You made a great decision. And I agree with the Rogers stock; it is very well made and lighter than the MOE.

    Good luck with that Colt.

  11. Yeah, I always shrugged off the Colt fandom. Not so much now.

LOL at you. You are a gun petter. You had DD and loved it; sold it. You had an Arsenal and loved it; sold it. You buy a interarms AK (might have the wrong maker on this one) you love it; sold it in a week. You get a new DD you love it; going to sell it (less than a month?). Before you ever lay your hands on you new Colt you are going to trade it for an Arsenal.

You don't like shooting you like losing money.

Oh yah how much you want for the DD? I am not above taking advantage of you. :)

  14. Neat. The 2 mags that came with it are dated 9-11.

Guess I need to get out and shoot other brand ARs. I've only shot a few other brands like Bushmaster and ok, I think it's just Bushmaster. But I have shot a few different models of them. Back to the point I couldn't really tell much difference from my Colt. Yeah the weight is a little different but I contributed that to the owner's setup being different than mine. But I'm still sticking to my Colt.

For me it was the opposite BUT I kept the Colt because anything can be swapped and they are both great ARs.
