Took my 2000 Ford Exploder in to the shop today because it makes a metal to metal noise. They 1st diagnosed the problem as the bushing making the noise, I said no the noise comes when the Ford isn't even moving, like when parked. So they started looking elsewhere and then made the oil pump diagnoses.

They said its the oil pump and will work on some numbers. Said part must come from the dealer. I hate to say it but I don't trust these guys after the experience I just had with them. I know if its an oil pump problem I want it repaired before it goes out. Oh it has 107k miles on it.
