Looking for a color AR build. it's an S&W m&p 15 getting magpul furniture. I live in West Virginia so I like the OD green but it's less common and I am just wanting some pics and advice.

    Thanks in advance

Advice on color? Go with whatever color you like.

ETA - If you plan on using this for hunting then go with the color that fits your area, probably OD. If you camo the weapon I prefer an OD base color.

:agree: and to add FDE would not match the Virginia landscape unless you live on the beach.

Not saying it's right for you, OP, but as far as color goes, my view is changing. Buying FDE or ODG furniture is one thing, but actually painting your AR yourself (or having it done) seems like the next level to me.

Buying furniture? Meh. Painting your entire AR from muzzle to stock pad with a can of spray paint? Balls.

I believe blue and gold would be a good fit for the West Virginia landscape.

On the color preference I'm colorblind so that's why I wanted opinions

Only for the first one. After that, watch out! nothing is safe.

Doing the furniture thing is a start.....

But the difference as to why you paint the whole thing is blatantly obvious....

I agree! I like FG better myself. At the time I was buying my AR furniture FG was always back ordered.

Yeah it does take a set to use spray paint on your AR.
