That speech was scary. Well at least for those of us that love and value freedom.

I would have walked out during that speech. He doesn't understand the difference between a commencement speech and a campaign speech - truly a slap in the fact to the university.

We were warned, the founders knew it would happen. I think they'd be surprised it lasted this long.

    Yes, you're right......they did!

The difference is now the hippie mentality is in power.......so, defending the course of our current government is a naturally derived evolution.

Yes they did; that's one the reasons they had the wisdom and foresight to include the second amendment to the Constitution.

I don't think the worry of the founders was with the government but with the people that wanted to run/control/dictate under the guise of "government".

People screw up much of what they touch.

Zero is actually exposing his anti-colonial, Marxist philosophy. America was established as a result of colonization. If you watch Obama's America 2016, it explains all of this and then everything he does suddenly makes sense.

In fairness to Comrade Zero, he has been fairly transparent about his agenda; two autobiographies, filled with anti-American rhetoric, and vivid descriptions of his foreign upbringing, complete with confessions of the alienation it caused.

Whenever he goes off script, he immediately lays bare his Marxist roots, and he promised again and again to "fundamentally transform America". His non-existent résumé--other than his wonderfully inspiring "Choom Gang" tenure--made it plain he isn't fit to run a lemonade stand.

He even has his Hope-A-Doped hordes chant "Yes we can!" in the language of our most persistent foreign invader parasites.

And instead of opposing him, our candidates try to out-pander him. It drives me right up the wall. :steamed:

You think it's bad now? Wait until this term of office is up and he doesn't want to leave. First he will attempt to get the length of term of office changed. When that doesn't work, he'll bring in his private army (DHS) and what ever amounts of our armed services that will follow him and install himself as permanent dictator. Then everyone will wonder "how did this happen"?

 This same thing has been said about GWB and Clinton before him. It's getting hackneyed.

Obama will be sprinting out of the White House at the end of his term just like Bush did. These guys who have to come to grips with the limits of their power just don't enjoy it anymore after 8 years.

Where did he say to reject the founders words? I get that the person writing the article is accusing him of it. But I didn't see him quoted as actually saying it.
