CNN host Soledad O’Brien on Monday held Romney senior campaign adviser Tara Wall’s feet to the fire on the former Massachusetts governor “completely contradictory” positions about whether Israel and the Palestinians could live in peace.

In a secretly recorded video published by Mother Jones last month, Romney had told a group of wealthy donors: “I look at the Palestinians not wanting to see peace anyway, for political purposes, committed to the destruction and elimination of Israel, and these thorny issues, and I say there’s just no way.”

But during major foreign policy speech scheduled for Monday, the Republican presidential nominee is expected to say that he is committed to “a Democratic, prosperous Palestinian state living side by side in peace and security with the Jewish state of Israel.”

Are you even reading this stuff? Or just switch back and forth between here and DU and cutting and pasting?

    Just wondering.

  3. Is there a point or were you just told by your DU handlers to post it?

Really, do some evaluation yourself rather than just goose-stepping with the rest of the followers.

    Your post contains nothing

There's reality, and there's what you can fight for.

We can all fight for a side by side state, but right now its not possible as long as the PLO is intransigent.

Not seeing any daylight here tween the two statements except for the DU lack of understanding.
  5. Israel is committed to that also, if the Palestinians agree to peacefully live side by side with the Jewish state of Israel. If the Arabs never agree to that, that's doesn't change our stance on the issue.
  6. That is what I don't get about this thread. IF Feather 2000 had ant knowledge of the middle east it would know that Israel has always offered peaceful coexistence. Therefore Feather 2000 has said it finds Romney espousing the same thing as unusual.

    doesn't make sense:dunno:
  7. country...who's posts are we expecting to make sense?...just sayin'
  8. True, it a "consider the source" kinda thing
  9. Finally cool weather has arrived!
  10. Now I see why Romney is your guys' favorite candidate: You guys like lies and he likes telling them to you.

  12. When all else fails and the liberal is confronted with the facts the liberal wil resort to calling "lie".

Same BS Obama tried (among every other excuse) after he got spanked in the debate. Why shouldn't we expect his devotees to mimic him?
  13. It's incredibly simple, there is no lying or deception. Israelis will agree to peace with the Palestinians if the Palestinians agree to peace with the Israelis. Israel will recognize the sovereign state of Palestine if Palestinians recognize the sovereign state of Israel. Based on their past and present actions, the hard-headed Palestinians will probably never agree to these two simple, fundamental terms, but that doesn't mean that Israel and the US don't fully support the terms.
  14. I am still trying to find the "completely contradictory" part?

Oh, wait, it's a bentlicker thread, I shouldn't waste time looking for accuracy.
  15. Ahh, I see that your Romney-vision goggles arrived in the mail... and are working well.

do you believe all this crap or is your neck just throwing-up?
  17. Care to explain any so-called lies or deception, or is this just random defamation of Romney?
