NYS Dumps COBIS

    Good news NYS has discontinued its 11 yr old program. There have been only 2 hits from the 360,000 casings examined under COBIS. No April fools joke!

    But I bet they still make you turn in a fired case when you buy don't they! They may have stopped funding it but they will still use it! Let us know when they actually stop requiring a fired case.:faint:
     
  4. Who would we get this answered from?

    If I purchase a gun from gun broker I always have to make sure it is shipped with a shell otherwise the FFL will refuse it.

    Does this mean I don't need the shell anymore?

  6. Good question, but my limited undestanding is they are actually changing the law. But I could be wrong :)
