The National Rifle Association is discounting their Life Membership to $300.00, instead of the normal $1,000.00.

The toll-free phone number to call for this offer is 1-888-678-7894.

Last year they kept it going until around mid year (late July or early August). That was probably in part trying to increase membership and raise funds for the '12 election. This year, they need the membership/funds to deal with the anti-gun crowd trying to pass an AWB.

That said, those of you considering taking advantage of the discounted life membership, if you can afford to do so, please don't wait. The NRA needs both the money and as importantly (if you aren't already a member) the ability to show the increase in membership since the AWB talk has heated up.

There are a number of threads on GT that explain how to get the discounted life membership deal.

I am SO glad you posted that number! I was gonna post it but misplaced it. I renewed at the 300 bucks and am glad I did. This seems like a better deal than trying to scrape up $50 every so often.

That always annoyed me, so this $300 package is a great deal.
