followed by some eggs fried in the leftover bacon grease in an iron skillet. Pure heaven.

    I don't do it often, but when I do, it's AWESOME !!

This is how my wife and her family (especially her dad) eat bacon & eggs. Also, a large bowl of fried potatoes are generally found nearby. Delicious!

Just as my wife was chastising me for eating waffles with syrup I stumbled upon this post. Bacon & eggs sounds yummy! Guess I'd better eat a Bison burger for dinner tonight. Darn, this eating healthy stuff is hard!

Hum... one of my favorite things is scrambled egg and grits w/ crispy bacon. Waffles are good. So are hashbrowns. If one must avoid bacon... country ham is a wonderful substitute. And... if one must down grade a bit, steak is good.

I like grits with over medium eggs and bacon. Take the grits and put about three over medium eggs on top, crumble about eight strips of bacon(or more) and mix it all together.

If you are not having home made biscuits with gravy made from the dripings then some 'lassis to finish off the biscuits your missing half the breakfast.

In butter, fry up some left over mash potatoes made into thick patties to have with those eggs and bacon. Fry the potatoes until they develope a crispy skin.....yum!

    Camping breakfast:
Chopped up sausage, bacon, jalapenos, hashbrowns, cheese, eggs all mixed together and cooked in the skillet. Rolled up in a tortilla with salt, pepper and Texas Pete.

Big tortillas make a football sized one for the hung-over, pre-fishing daybreak preparation.
