The sks is a good rifle, but that is FN 2000 price
That's two rifles both with serial number 1. Doesn't serial number 1 increase the value a great deal?
Holy cow. Supply and demand though.
dude, if I had. he money I would buy those in a heartbeat!
Two Russian SKS' with serial #1.....WOW!!!!!
In a heartbeat!
SKS have dates on them and since CDNN isn't posting them there is no way to track when they were made , expecially since Russians didn't use Laminate stocks until later
Yeah but serial number 1 of what? Etched into the receiver by the importer or are they claiming these are the first to roll off the line behind the iron curtain?
If someone finds out they're legitimate #1 rifles, they won't hesitate to buy them at that price. That ad has nothing to do with price gouging.
ETA: where did you see that ad anyhow? CDNN's sight is still in panic mode and not taking online orders.
If your offering 1 of anything I want documentation not a one page flyer
also CDNN has email they have been sending out informing what is in stock
I agree on the documentation, but if someone where to call them or collector were to show up at their facility and see proof, they'll be bought instantly.
I received the CDNN ad in my email this morning as well.
Sounds about as legit as Mitchell's Mausers.....
The Russians started every year over IIRC. A pair of #1s could be 52 and 53 and so on.
Ah well, I didn't get that ad even though I'm on their e-mail list and have ordered tons of stuff through them.
I also would like to know which factory made them. I believe Tula and Izhesk both made the SKSs in the 1950s.
