I have Norton 2002 installed and I'm wondering if I need to update to 2005? I have no problems with Norton, I was just wondering. Thanks

I am sure you can go to Norton's website you can read about the new features they are trying to sell people on.

Most likely it's slower and uses more memory and bloated. It will give you problems. If your software is running fine and you are getting your updates then don't mess with it.

I remember the old days when companies used to release optimized updates to streamline the software.

You can't make money like that anymore so they just add an arbitrary number and sell it as new.

Kind of like drug companies who won't create cures but keep you hooked on thier drugs. hmmmmmm
