I would like to try and make a knife and see that I can get the steel in the non annealed form, if I understand correctly the steel would be easier to work. Im new to this and I would be using mostly hand tools. Would it be to my advantage to buy it in its non annealed form or is the difference negligable.

    Dear HKTexas,

I recommend that you go online to K and G Finishing supplies, Texas Knife making supplies, and also Masecraft Supply Company. There you will find everything you need including annealed steel and lots of info if you call to talk to them. They are all good sources and good guys.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,
