Just wanted to say hope everybody is doing well and did not get flooded.

I always like to remind my friends and neighbors that some of the best Texans were Tennesseeans, and I have always thought of us as natural allies. It is sickening to see the photos of Nashville.

    Ok here thankfully.

    Thanks for checking.

I completely agree about the bond between TN and TX.

Grew up in TN and spent most of my working years in TX. Back in TN now.
I've always said that Texans are like Tennesseans except more so. I purely enjoyed my time there (except for the gd humidity).

Small world. Worked in TX for two years and loved every waking minute of it. I live in Memphis now, and feel like I am an outsider not matter how many years it has been. I will try to get back to TX as soon as possible. The people there felt like the good old boys that I knew growing up in WV. Almost heaven is WV. Heaven on earth is TX.
