I have read and understand about the Indiana no carry places. My question is what are the no carry places per fedreal laws? Like (don't tell anyone but I had my gun with in the post office a couple weeks ago)post offices?, government offices? (pretty easy to tell when using metal detectors), etc. Wouldn't want to break any laws.

    Feds have signs posted in:

    Veterans admin hospitals.
    Internal Revenue Service
    Fed Courthouses
Fed law enforcement agencies (ATF & FBI)
    Some post offices
All government offices (agriculture, labor, congress/senate, social security, welfare, medicare/medicaid)

Never seen a metal detector at any of them. But I still wouldn't carry there.

From what I understand ANY federal facility where people work or visit is off limits. Also against federal law to carry into a school unless you have a resident carry permit/license and then only if the local law allows.

It is technically, but the code also says that if it's not posted at the entrance, you can't be convicted (or prosecuted?) if you get "caught."
  5. Move to chicago/cook county they simplified your options there quite a bit.
