The soft shadowing is awesome but what's really amazing is the fully poly foliage. The jungle in the first Far Cry was all static textures except for some of the trees. I can't wait for the first title that uses technology like this.

I tried Windows Media Player, Realplayer, and Quicktime and couldn't get it to play (except for sound). What do I need to play it? Also, what is the content? My computer is in my kitchen, I don't need swearing, bloody zombies coming out of the screen during breakfast with the kids!

It's a DivX encoded avi file. You'll need DivX installed to play it.

It's video footage someone took during what appears to be a developers conference showing off some of the new features of the engine, nothing innapropriate.

Excellent graphics. Still has trouble with fire. Pretty much all the games I've seen haven't been able to reproduce fire really well.

I don't know how it will work, but what would really be impressive is if it could work with existing computers, without everyone having to "upgrade" in order to get the whole experience of it.
