  1. finished building this the other day. Now just need to get the eotech for it. Sling is also on its way. For those that say its impractical I ain't gonna argue, it's just for fun

Nice toy, but an AR15 pistol, in a closed environment WILL
    cause permenant hearing damage!

Is that a 45 round mag or a 30 that looks gigantically huge because of the small gun?

My next build and by build I mean putting an upper on a lower, is going to be either a pinned 14.5 or a SBR depending on how a certain state legislature votes.

What length barrel is that? I have my pistol lower all built, but I am having a hard time deciding what I want to do with the upper.

Very nice! I have a 7.5" RRA rifle and I can tell you it is absolutely deafening indoors. But that doesn't matter a whole lot when your life is on the line.

It means more than you might think. The concussion is enough to really screw you on follow-up shots. Tossing a KX3 on the front does help a bit with that, though.

    Suppressors will solve that problem.

    :agree:

I won't even shoot my 10.5" without a suppressor attached.

On a 7.5" barrel, even the top end suppressors will have the report well over hearing safe levels. It's very difficult to get a 10.5" below hearing safe. Even then, it's only barely under the OSHA rating, and only for a single blast - not for constant levels.

It's not just a matter of hearing damage, but the body's involuntary reflex in reaction to the concussion and sound that will cause problems. It can screw with your accuracy, reaction time, or even make it difficult to function at all under certain circumstances.
