I look forward to hearing your impressions.
Congrats. I love mine.
Congrats! Make sure and try both back straps. Even though I wear an XL glove, the smaller backstraps on the XDS and XDM have them point more naturally for me. Also make sure to post a range report!
I wear a genuine "medium" and got the same results as ^^^^ that with both guns as well.
Congrats, the XDs is amazingly size efficient 45.
I wear medium gloves and have small hands but the small backstrap on my P2000sk had my front sight dipping unless I was very deliberate. Putting the large backstrap on it fixed that problem for me.
You will like it. Check with Powder River Precision (PDP) for the 5 springs kit which drops trigger pull to around 4lbs.
Galloway makes an aftermarket sear which helps make a more smooth/slick trigger action.
many possibilities with this neat defensive .45acp for defensive carry.
I wish I could find one at the same price my FIL paid. Great little pistol.
You will love it, try the laserlyte rear sight, very cool and simple.
I favor the large backstrap. I have medim size hands but the small backstrap always has me dipping the front sight too. The large backstrap lines up the front sight with the rear sight or just slightly above it making finding the front sight quicker for me. Either way it is an excellent CCW gun and I rarely carry anything else now.
It's a good gun... I have the bi-tone and peace pinkie extenders... I'd ccw that over a 5/6 shot revolver ANY DAY! It also fits my Galo holsters perfectly for my M&P Shield 9!!
Congrats! I'm waiting for the release of the 9mm version to go along with my .45 model.
My wife likes mine so much, she said she wants one if they ever come out in a 9mm.
They landed at the dealer's (Dave at DRC Firearms) Saturday. He bought one too. He took his out and ran it when they landed and said he loves it. Looks like I'll be ordering a new Crossbreed Minituck for it. I think I know what I'll be totin' this summer.
Could you post some pics of the mags with the pinkie extensions? I'd be interested in tryin some of those.
9mm arriving at my local shop next week. Still prefer G-36.
Joe,......please post a review on Addicts when you get out with the XDs
