It would be presented similar to the MIA/POW flag...

    My thoughts?

    No.

When five Marines and a US Navy Corpsman raise that abomination above a Japanese held island (that cost more US Marine Corps casualties in one battle than the entire USMC had lost in its history up to that point) then we can consider it.

This is the only "Veteran's flag" the USA needs.

Now lets have all the haters come in and tell me I'm anti-American and a surrender monkey because I feel like this flag is a joke.

Only flag I have as "MY" flag: Bersa 45 UC SS 1.JPG I served 44 years ago. Still my flag.

I'm not a fan of it at all. I do give him credit for trying to do this. I do not think it is really necessary but that is my opinion.

Just a desire for every group to have their recognition. Everyone wants to be seperated from the rest, and presented as better somehow.

It's a stupid idea and the flag looks terrible.

The flag looks plain silly and almost cartoonish. I have nothing against the idea but what is this guy thinking with his new flag design?

Meh. Good idea, poor execution. Kinda reminds me of something else.

That looks like it belongs on the side of a pack of cigarettes, if you ask me.

Even if it weren't hideous, which it is, I don't get it. If a vet wants to fly a flag, the Stars and Stripes is the best one out there. If he wants to celebrate his service, a service branch flag would do nicely.

The flag for veterans already exists! It is called the Stars and Stripes!

I'm wondering why the American flag can't suffice for all things related to our great country, including our veterans? I'm not sure that the POW/MIA flag makes much sense to me either.

I fear that attempts to break-down/out individual parts of our society, and seperate them with their own individual flags, lessens the great unifying symbol of the only one we really need. It's like everyone wants to have their own unique perspectives represented, instead of working together as American citizens to keep our country strong and vibrant.

Ugly. Looks like the flag of an African country.

To me it looks like something the North Koreans might dream up.

That flag looks like the logo to some crappy minor-league baseball team.
