I have hit the rods that support the sun-blocker-thingys (that's the technical term for them!) several times, but have always been able to straighten them and continue to use... no damage to the main unit itself so far.
I've had mine for almost 2 years and love it. If I ever have to replace it whistling, will probably get a model where the brains are separate from the sensors. Cheaper that way, ya know...
Ahhhh an electronic bullet magnet with antennae. I'm guessing fourth time out (Jack, I'll p.m. you my address so you know where to send the 1050).
