Hey guys! New member here from SOCAL. Just purchased my first gun, a glock 17 a few weeks ago, and couldn't be happier. Having a lot of fun at the range and getting acclimated to it! Look forward to become an active member on the forum!

Welcome to the forum and welcome to the world of firearms.

What training is required to purchase a gun in California? I ask because owning/carrying/shooting firearms is a responsibility not to be taken lightly. Our guns are lethal devices that require knowledge and experience to handle safely. We are legally accountable for every bullet fired.

Take your responsibility very seriously. Everyone within range of your new Glock is a potential victim.
