  2. It is good to see that the RCC is breaking away from its past tradition of denying religious liberty to other faiths and becoming a supporter of religious liberty.

Hmmm. I guess it is upholding religious liberty for itself. I wonder if they would do the same for others.

It can easily be applied to all religious and/or limited government people. Whenever and wherever far left movements gain power, they almost always go after Christianity, especially religious schools and hospitals. They can use force or they can use laws that alter moral beliefs enough to make them give up, so the federal government can then step in and take over the institutions. For the secular left, government knows best and should therefore run everything. The contraception issue, limited mainly to the RCC, is a wedge issue to divide Christians and take out the big group first, before moving on to schools and organizations run by Protestants, Orthodox Jews, etc.

  10. We believe in religious liberty and have a department that will give religious aid to any denomination.

    http://www.adventist.org/mission-and-service/religious-liberty.html

"Since 1901, the Department of Public Affairs and Religious Liberty (PARL) has represented the Seventh-day Adventist Church to governments, religious bodies, and international organizations. By supporting, protecting and defending religious freedom and human rights for all people everywhere, "

Re: OP. Good presentation. If someone else doesn't like it, they need to develop funding and produce their own presentation.

    and speaking of the WCC:

    Purpose
The WCC understands itself as a fellowship of churches, and from the outset the search for the visible unity of the churches has been at the heart of the WCC. The constitutional purpose of the fellowship of churches in WCC is "to call one another to the goal of visible unity in one faith and in one eucharistic fellowship expressed in worship and in common life in Christ, and to advance towards that unity in order that the world may believe."

Seems as though the SDA is in bed with some shady groups, while claiming to be the remnant church

    http://www.oikoumene.org/en/handbook/global-bodies-and-mission-communions/wcc.html

on left side of page, click on "member churches"

Working on programs with the RCC........how about that?
and yes I know that RCC is not a member of the WCC but they have clergy assigned to the WCC working on behest of the Pope

No I'm pretty sure that was Fred or Vic...:tongueout:

So it is your contention that the RCC referred to SDA as such? Please cite.
